Agony Reigns is an upcoming Modern Thrash band from the Twin Cities as described by Bill Hansen, The Metal Evangelist from KFAI’s Roar of the Underground. Agony Reigns strives to bring forth their own sound and share their craft with the world. Known in their local scene for their tight and energetic performances, the band strives to provide a sonic experience both on record and in concert.

Agony Reigns released their debut EP to a sold out crowd at The Amsterdam in St. Paul.  The band also won the Best New Band of the Year award from the 2019 Metalsota Metty Awards ceremony.

Now after a long and productive 2020, Agony Reigns has unveiled their debut album, The Tragedy in Understanding Nothing.
